2. Accommodations & Bookings

All property listings are independently operated by verified local hosts and lodge operators. Visit Karatu facilitates transparent direct reservations. Check-in policies, cancellation schedules, and house rules are specified on each property profile.

3. Live Like a Local Experiences & Community Fund

Every cultural experience booking automatically allocates 15% of gross revenue to the Karatu Community Tourism Fund for local clean water, education, and reforestation projects. The remaining funds are disbursed directly to host families and guides.

4. Payments & Mobile Money

Payments are processed securely via encrypted payment gateways supporting international credit cards and East African Mobile Money. All prices are displayed in USD and TZS with zero hidden checkout fees.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
